The HSBC credit card itself is wonderful. However, the app is trash to be honest. Pending transactions are not showing, billers are VERY limited and it is showing your current statement instead of your remaining balance, and NO WAY TO LOCK YOUR CARD! I'm not even sure if they exerted an effort to design this app. Imagine losing your card and waiting for someone to max out your credit limit. C'mon HSBC, you can do better than this!

REPLY TO HSBC: Found the collapsible line. This should be made more visible and user-friendly. I like the old app better. For credit card users, you can easily navigate and track your credit card usage, limit, and transactions. The new app hides the credit limit and available balance. You have to rely on your estatements which generates monthly. I prefer the old one because you can see the available balance in real time instead of waiting for the estatement. Bring it back!

Hi Jerico. We understand your concern and would like to confirm that you can view your available balance directly within the mobile app. To view the summary of your credit card balance and payments, just drag the collapsible line below “View Statements”. Hope this helps!

I cannot register on mobile app. It always says 'service unavailable' Tried uninstalling, re-installing, clearing cache, restarting phone, etc but still the same 😕 Update: 3/27/26 - I was able to successfully registered on mobile app. Hopefully they will add security measures like lock card feature, set to minimum 1 peso email alert notifs on tranx.
