A NOTE ON COUNTRIES
Our list is based primarily on United Nations membership, while also
including places that aren't formally recognised as UN member states but
are considered de facto countries by some. "been" doesn't take a political
stance on these questions — our goal is simply to give you somewhere to
record your own travels, with room for the many perspectives in our
community.

Was working fine till the 8 Jun 2026 update. Now can't login and the app is buggy.

Last update removed all local data, not usefull app anylonger.

iOS version is much better, disappointed at the comparative lack of features on Android. For example, the map is almost unusable with terrible zooming and panning, you can't compare with friends in-app, there are no 'lived' or 'wishlist' options only 'been', and stats are very limited. It's just quite disappointing because the iOS version is amazing, I wish we could have those features on Android.
