About this app

Your moey! bank account is 100% digital, has zero costs and works with MB WAY

- Open an account in 5 minutes: open your bank account in 5 minutes with Chave Móvel Digital.

- Control your finances: receive push notifications to warn you when others send you money or when payments are completed. If you lose your card, if it was stolen, or any other reason, just cancel in it in the app and order a new one.

- In & Out: you can send, request and split bills between moey!, MB WAY and others. No added costs, no transfer charges.

- Pay with your phone: leave your wallet at home and let your moey! app pay for you. You can activate NFC payments directly on the app.

- Withdraw money: set the amount you want to withdraw on your phone, go to an ATM and insert the code we send you. It's as simple as it is safe. - Available in the Multibanco network

- Manage all your bank accounts: it’s All In, use the moey! app to manage bank accounts from all your banks. Make payments with the app, analyse your expenses and create saving goals for all of your accounts.

- Goals: save money easily. Set your saving goals, when you want to reach that goal and how often you want to save.

- Stats: control you personal finances, see where you spend more money, with costs divided in categories, such as restaurants, supermarkets and others.

- Physical card: request your card for free and receive it at home. You can use it in any ATM in Portugal, including the Multibanco network, and abroad. Your card is contactless, just touch and pay

- Groups: create groups and split expenses with whoever you choose. Ideal for friends or flatmates. You can create a group and add or remove members. Then just add the expense and "bye bye complications".

- Split bill: moey! helps you split the bills, all you need to do is choose the contacts you want to split a bill with, or ask for money. You'll be notified every time someone pays.

I used to love this app, it was fast and straight to the point, with a great UX. Last update made the browsing experience slower with a lot of unwanted animations and visual "Trash" and in a world where the mobile phones are getting larger or with more screen surface the moey! decided to increase their text size 10 times, I feel like I'm using an app directed to people that are nearly blind.

Latest UI update made the app slow. It's still very useful and it looks cleaner, in a way, but almost everything you do either takes a long time to show or makes you have to quit the app to try again. Also, I can't seem to add another bank account even after the process is finished. Please look into this, the app was fine but this change made the user experience worse. I'll be glad to change this to a 5 star rating when it's back to how it used to be

Awful app. 1. No search option whatsoever. 2. In lists of transactions, dates have no year; so, if one keeps scrolling down the list, pretty soon the only way to know the year is to enter a random transaction and see its full details. 3. App locks after 30 seconds, EVEN if one is typing into it! 4. AND now they've forced dark theme the whole time (instead of using the system setting), which obviously is easier for them to maintain, but harder to read on bright days. …Worse with each update.
