This is already incredibly useful. I only wish I had it earlier. The default permission controller on my phone is bundled with other scum modules and automatically kills apps sometimes. It deleted all my games in a folder as much as 88GB data. I had to disable the default malware but would be left without a way to change app permissions. Thanks to this app, I can not only control app permissions again but also fine tune them.

The only app that allowed me to block the horrible vivo origin OS to stop spying and increase battery life substantially. Edit:4stars only because the backup is not saving system apps. Now the only reason to use this app for me is stopping the China OS (Vivo) spyware for apps I cannot debloat (user 1000).. please include saving of system apps.

I use the paid version along with icebox, island, greenify, and shinzuku. It works and I'd rate 5 stars but I'm hung up on one question I can't get answered so I'll ask it here. Does 'automatic recovery' restore the settings after android overrides and changes them? Android is overriding them constantly if that's correct and if all auto recovery does is restore 'ignore' or 'deny' until its overridden again, what's the point? It also doesn't say which app is overridden. Itseither placebo or 5star
