About this app

This keyboard is created for those who only need a keyboard and nothing more.

To enable the keyboard:
* Open "Simple Keyboard" from your launcher
* Enable the Simple Keyboard (default system warning about tracking will be shown)
* Switch to Simple Keyboard from current Input Method (differs between keyboards, usually long-press space)
* To edit Simple Keyboard settings long-press "," or open system Settings, Languages & Input, Simple Keyboard.
* You can enable/disable all the input methods in Settings, Languages & Input, Manage Keyboards (differs between phones)

* Minimal permissions (only Vibrate)

Features it doesn't have and probably will never have:
* Emojis
* GIFs
* Spell checker
* Swipe typing

So far its perfect for replacing Gboard. Idk y they suddenly changed the layout. Once I went in and change the setting preferences its like home! I dont have any predictive text poppin up at the top but that doesnt mean its not possible but I havent delved into the full settings. However I did change some and its just fine for me. I just have to correct my own writing but my fingers fit pretty well. I havent seen any ads yet and I havent paid any $ either soooo.

Just fantastic. I only now realized how much space gboard was taking up for the last 2 years, full of nonsense features I NEVER used. Plus I found the amount of User Data it needed was bizarre for a FLIPPING keyboard. Just swapped it out with this, set the Material Light Border theme, and it feels like nothing's changed. I'm definetely making typos a bit more, but I'll adjust eventually. Seriously, I can not thank you enough for this app.

I've always wanted a keyboard which should be light and performance driven. And it took me long enough to find this keyboard but I made it. It's excellent to be honest for my needs. I do not want anyone to track my typed items. I do not want such heavy keyboards with loads of features. I wanted a simple keyboard which could just type well and stay fast over the years. However there are small improvements/features needed : The spacebar is a bit narrow (make it taller) and emojis are needed.
