Download and enjoy reading and studying The Amplified Bible (AMP Bible free offline app). It is an English language translation of the Bible. It is largely a revision of the American Standard Version of 1901, with reference made to various texts in the original languages. It is designed to "amplify" the text by using additional wording and a system of punctuation and other typographical features to attempt to bring out a clearer meaning to the original texts.Multiple English word equivalents to each key Hebrew and Greek word clarify and amplify meanings that may otherwise have been concealed by the traditional translation method.
The Amplified Bible can be a valuable study tool, as the different “alternate” renderings can give additional insight into the meaning of a text. The problem is the words the AMP Bible gives alternate renderings for CAN mean those things, but do not mean ALL of those things. The fact that a word can have different meanings does not mean that every possible meaning is a valid rendering each time the word occurs. Also, it being based on the American Standard Version results in some of its wordings sounding archaic.

I like that this version includes all the implied text or alternative translations - quite a few "Amplified" Bible apps do not do this. I don't like the navigation screen. It is possible to provide links to all books in one view! but this app shows 5 big tiles at a time. Major groan! It can take a while to find the book you want. Otherwise, the app is fine.

translates properly and makes one look at the scriptures from different angles giving clear understanding.. I love it

So far is classic version. Be nice to add daily verse come up on regular basic with out opening app. Such as daily notifications. Highlighted verse does not show up when saved to book mark. Don't like way u change books.
