Couchpal is a remote for Android TV, Google TV and NVIDIA Shield — and it does things other remote apps can't.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
• A real mouse pointer that works in almost any app on the TV, not only the browser. Swipe on your phone to move the cursor, tap to click, two fingers to scroll.
• Send files from your phone straight to the TV.

GETTING STARTED
Put your phone and TV on the same Wi-Fi and Couchpal finds the TV by itself. If your network blocks automatic discovery, you can connect with the TV's IP address instead.
The basic remote works on its own. The extras — apps, files, browser, mouse pointer and add-ons — use Couchpal on your TV as well: the same free app, installed from the TV's own Play Store (your phone opens it there with one tap).
The mouse pointer on the TV (Couchpal Mouse) uses Android's accessibility service to move, click and scroll for you. It stays off until you accept it on the TV and switch it on, and what's on your screen is never stored or sent anywhere.

The app is free and shows a single small ad. A one-time Pro purchase removes it and unlocks your own background image. No subscription, and the remote itself is never locked behind a paywall.
