Just like other people say, this remote only works for a short time. For some reason after I bought the premium ad free version this remote stopped working. I really hope there is an update to fix this as I was really excited to have a mobile phone remote while it worked. This is either a scam or just lack of compatibility. PS the free version is almost unusable due to the excessive amount of ads. You have to exit out of 3 ads with every few buttons.

Connecting to the TV was simple and seamless. The controls worked, if slightly unintuitively. Beyond that: truly awful app. Full screen, sound on, full minute ads that interpret any movement (even trying to open notifications or close the app) as clicking on the ad. And those happen every 5 button presses. And that's on top of the banner ads at the bottom of the app. Only took me 5 minutes to realize that I'd rather buy another remote than deal with this app.

Ever since I upgraded to the pro to be rid of the pesky ads, it keeps freezing and I have to close the app and go back in to get it working again, which it as annoying as waiting for an ad to finish before using it. . Currently, it's not working at all. Also, it would be nice if it had shortcut buttons like the physical remote for Netflix or Hulu or whatever else.
