Ratings and reviews

App is not too bad but has lots of room for improvement. It is difficult to see only those I follow as it tends to show what twitch wants me to see first which causes the need to click more. Playback freezes often whether on cellular or wi-fi (video is pixelated or stutters just like PC browser version). Video playback is often stuttering, pixelated or garbled. It has been like this for years. I guess that is why YT and Kick have gained popularity.

The app is so bad now. It is styled like tiktok where u swipe through streams. But when I log into the app I just want to see a list of streams I follow. Doesn't help it immediately plays the stream which is annoying. On top of that if you're already playing a stream in the background and you go back to your home screen it instantly goes back to the tiktok like screen and pauses your background stream. Seriously who designed this...

Seems that they're slowly increasing their ads to unreasonable amounts in order to try to force their users to pay for Twitch Turbo which used to only cost just over $100 a year but now cost $200 a year (in monthly payments) and with the main benefit of Twitch Turbo being no ads, that is an absurd price especially when the combined price of a hulu and netflix subscription still isn't as much as it is to just remove ads from Twitch. I'm getting 12 ads every 10 minutes, which gets really annoying.
