This app would be way better 9f you could remotely control and view your archives through the app. I mean why not wouldn't it be nice to post to YouTube with out all the other hastle. . . Look if this feature gets updated I will not only change from a 2 star review, I will go as far as to write a better review.. mean while I honestly believe with today's technology you can do so much more. And feel that the best should be the best. And not build to be the best. Just do best.
Required to create an account just to watch someone else play? What kids are going to stay around for that? Sorry I'm moving my streaming to another platform that understands repeat business better. A company that puts their profits to use bringing in more business up front. So streamers can take care of the repeat customers.
I really don't like the way things have changed in the new update. Also, I can't seem to figure out how I can edit my notifications per streamer I follow. It's either turn all notifications off or on. It would be really nice to edit who you want to receive notifications from. I have preferences as to who I wanna see and who I watch just to kill time. Another sugegstion I have is if maybe a feature that would allow you to easily unfollow streamer's. To unfollow, you currently have to select the streamer, watch an ad, and then tap on the follow icon. I feel it's a bit much. All-in-all, I can't really stand to use the app, but I do anyways just to watch one or two friends so I can support them. I would greatly appreciate any effort placed into fixing the Twitch app.
I love Twitch, had no problems with the app before. I've not used it in awhile so not sure when the problem came about, but recently the Cast button has disappeared. Look online for answers, but nothing bared fruits. YouTube and other apps of the likes still work and can cast with no issues, just Twitch. Give me the Cast back and the app is great, but without it, the app is pretty pointless. Can't really watch much on a 2inch screen.
I feel like most of the changes are stuff I would just have to get used to but like many of the other reviews, I don't like swiping to change streams as a feature. And the fact that I have to hold my tablet vertically to use chat, I like to have it resting sideways with the keyboard stand. Streams were better to watch that way anyhow. And the pop out feature now seems to be gone which was actually really nice. Looked thru more reviews, and ya pls just go back to the way things were BibleThump
I by no means run around reviewing apps, but this latest update got me so SwiftRage. It's lost the option to watch the stream in landscape on my tablet and view chat, it's lost any easy way to get pop out player and now just makes it when I want to close the app, speaking of closing I have no idea how up close a stream when I want to go to search for another one without the one I decided against clinging to my screen. I get that I'll learn a lot of the new functionality over time, but overall this was a massive down grade from the previous iteration of the app. BibleThump old Twitch app, and as always: golden Kappa check.
Couch potatoes rejoice! Twitch comes to Android TV.
