Ratings and reviews

The UI hangs when the network fails to respond, or when the network is switched to a different one. Given that my use case (and presumably the use case of many others) for this app is to diagnose network issues, this makes it highly unreliable, if not outright useless, as it needs constant force-stopping to make it work. Besides this, it's a great app, hence still three stars, but unfortunately this issue is a major one.

Update (June 2024), sorted out the connection issue but for some reason this app nearly always shows a slower speed test result than any other test I use! 12 months later (May 2024), changed ISP and the app will not show internet connection. A rare thing in the world of apps! A clear, easy to use intuitive interface that does what you want with a few extras thrown in. A really useful tool for diagnosing wifi problems.

Im a newish user of the app, so still exploring all its features. But so far, its been very useful. It makes it easy to see the interface layer information and to run basic tests. I did find that some of the information is inaccessible to me as my device is not rooted (which would prevent me from using it to access day job related network resources due to MDM). But the basics all work and its been a reliable and handy app. Its also not flooded with ads. <3 A big thanks to the authors!
