Our new app has everything you need to get around the North East with Go North East. It’s packed full of everything you’ll need to get mobile on the bus.

Favourites: You can quickly save your favourite Departure Boards, Timetables and Journeys, with quick access from one convenient menu.

Disruptions: You’ll be able to keep up to date with service changes directly from our disruption feeds inside the app.

Ratings and reviews

Design makes it slightly difficult to navigate and is a bit confusing when compared to the other go northeast app. It doesn't show information that you want you kind of have to dig around for it for example when looking at what area a zone ticket covers or when you try to plan your journey it just shows you times but not what buses they're for until you press on it to find out. In conclusion, I think the layout needs to be a bit easier to follow and navigate like the other go northeast app

Integrating the use of mobile data needs serious optimization. There is no ability to buy multiple tickets at once (an inconvenience for commuters who like to buy a month's worth of tickets in one go). Tickets do not show an "activate by" date. (They did in the old app). The viewable timetables are not optimized for mobile devices. The old app was better. This app tries to do to much and succeeds at so little.

It's useful that it shows you the type of bus and how easy it is, however that's about the extent of pros for me. When you select a bus stop to view the next departures, the times are way off. For example, it told me the next bus was in 25 minutes, but luckily due to PDF timetables I knew that it was in 15 minutes. The old app never had these problems and was just easier to use in general.
