Nearly amazing. the fundamentals are there but some strange decisions make this more frustrating than it needs to be. 1. Let me book a ticket for a train, even if it's arriving in 5 mins. 2. I need fewer clicks to book a train and get the pass/es into my wallet. Quick purchase option? I buy the same journey frequently. 3. Stop the app from freaking out if I don't do anything for a few mins - it prevents my payment at the last second. 4. Stop waving the £5 offer at me when I can never apply it.

Terrible decision to remove the simple open return option. Whilst open returns are no longer available for LNER services, LNER doesn't seem to have grasped the concept that people want to buy tickets for other TOCs services on the app where open returns are still available. Open returns for other TOCs are still present in the app, but require a far longer and convoluted user journey. Up until this point, the LNER app was the best designed of all the TOC apps, but this is no longer the case.

Got recommended to try this out after I had hell with Trainline and my local company's app and site are useless, tried to buy my first ticket today only to be met with constant errors and the inability to buy an open return ticket?? 2 single tickets would cost me £10+ each instead of £17 lmao how is that cost effective.
