About this app

Make a map of your favorite spots — and share it with a link.

DROP A PIN
Long-press anywhere on the map to save a place. Add a name, pick an emoji category, write notes for later.

EMOJI CATEGORIES
Organize by what matters to you — coffee shops, restaurants, bars, parks, bookstores, date spots, whatever. Each category gets its own emoji on the map.

TIME-BOUND PLACES
Drop a pin with an expiration date — pop-up shops, festivals, weekly markets. Expired places hide on their own; an orange clock badge marks them until they do.

PHOTOS FROM THIS PLACE
Open a saved spot and Nemo shows photos you took nearby — pulled automatically from your own gallery. Each pin becomes a small memory. Photos stay on your device — shared maps don't include them.

SHARE MAPS AS LINKS (WEB + iOS + ANDROID)
One tap creates a link to your map. Send it anywhere:
• Open on the web — anyone can view your pins in a browser at nemo.town, no app needed.
• Forward it onward — the same link works for everyone it's sent to.
• Import on iPhone, iPad, or Android — Nemo users can open the link and pull your places into their own map.

nemo.town isn't a fallback — it's the web version of your shared map.

IMPORT & EXPORT
Bring in your Google My Maps, GeoJSON, KML, or KMZ files. Export your places anytime. Your data is always yours.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No accounts. No sign-in. No analytics. No tracking. All your places live on your device and nowhere else — unless you choose to share them.

ACCESSIBILITY
Full TalkBack support. Respects your system font size and animation preferences.

What’s new

New: mark places as visited. Check off the spots you've been to — visited pins get a green check, and a new "Hide visited" filter leaves just your to-do list on the map.

Also in this update: uncategorized imports now land in "Other" instead of creating duplicates, Export lets you pick KML or GeoJSON, and the iPad editor panel shows reliably. Plus small fixes and polish.
