You can use it to do some controls and settings , such as dimming and grading, setting various dynamic modes and scenes, music rhythms of several sound sources and optional rhythm styles, timer setting for lights on/off, pixel setting, line sequence setting, etc.
MagicLantern App is designed to be fun and easy to use, with a certain degree of professionalism and ease of use.

Well... Between the app and the product, I'm not sure what to say. There is very limited availability to "customize" your lights. There is no option to set specific colors for holidays, and the app has a hard time connecting to the devices sometimes. And you can forget being able to pick one theme and syn all devices in the group to that theme, it just doesn't work. It's a shame, because it has potential to be wonderful, yet falls so short.

I'm honestly pretty pissed because of two lies. My light bars claim there's 300+ styles of modes. There's exactly 213. Not quite 300, and certainly not 300+. Second, the bigger lie. It advertised being able to set bicolor, tricolor, and fourcolor static lights. You cannot. You only get one color statics. If you want multiple colors, it has to be from one of the 212+ animated modes, and you can't customize the colors in any of them either. What a disappointment, and I'll be looking to refund.

Works!!! I have a Patriot Lighting Smart LED Corner. I had no idea my light was Bluetooth and its very snappy. Maybe the app is updated or I have a very good phone. But even when I close the app, it leaves the setting on. You can control the brightness and there's SO many more options than the remote it came with. I love the snow, candle, and fire option, it's very cozy. And I like that my light is sound activated and the app works really well with it.
