I started running at 38. Before that, the only sport I did was chess. My first marathon took 5 hours 40 minutes. Now I finished one in 2:35.
That didn't happen by accident. It happened because I'm a developer, and I analyzed everything. Spreadsheets. Python scripts. Every app I could find. I kept stitching tools together trying to understand what was working. Eventually I stopped patching and started building.

And if you do triathlon, RAWA treats it as one connected activity — swim → T1 → bike → T2 → run — with stats across every segment, transitions included. Because transitions count.
