About this app
Since 1990, World On Communications has created over 80 video guides on different and evocative places in the world.
Now, these video guides and their information form the basis of a new set of applications for Android devices.
Each app is divided into 3 parts:
- Map
- Information tab
- Video clips
This "Norway in a nutshell" app is one of the series of app-guides dedicated to the Norwegian fjords and the peculiarities encountered along the Stavanger-Bergen-Alesund itinerary. After a brief presentation of the city of Bergen, we will follow the splendid "Norway in a nutshell®" itinerary.
TOURIST INFORMATION
Without taking anything away from a long stay in Norway, this itinerary allows everyone to get to know the beauties and the varied morphology of the Norwegian territory in just one day. Furthermore, what makes it very interesting in our opinion is that this itinerary is covered in a single day, using different means of transport: Train - Ship - Coach.
ITINERARY
BERGEN - Myrdal - Flåm - Gudvangen - Voss - Bergen is the "Norway in a nutshell®" itinerary that we followed during filming and that we show you in the video. There are various combinations departing from Oslo by train and returning via Voss or via Bergen. We suggest you visit the website www.norwaynutshell.com to find out the costs and all the variables of the route that takes place throughout the year.
Along the itinerary you can closely observe foaming waterfalls, deep gorges, the immensity of nature in a fjord with the walls of the mountains flowing very close, the small villages with colorful houses scattered here and there in the vastness of a fairytale landscape and numerous curiosities that will make your visit magical and unique.
This app does not use geolocation sensors or trackers to guide you to the destinations shown in the itinerary. The app has been structured to be a simple information brochure with video clips which can also be useful for planning a vacation to Norway. The app does not collect user data and does not require an internet connection. It works independently from our other thiols and requires no special permissions to use.
