Absolutey brilliantly written original Science Fiction. The immense and deep knowledge about Writing in Sci-Fi Spacedock and associates present on their YouTube channel makes for a brilliant Audio Drama. I frequently changed between laughing about the realistic lowkey humour, but also smirking about some hints and nods to certain sci fi elements. i almost teared up of joy sometimes and the music and acting gave me goosebumps. The music is excellent and just hits the right emotional tone. The characters are for the most part expertly voiced, although sometimes the speakers being used to narrative talk shine through in between when they actually try to realistically portray in-situ human beings. Audio effects are well made as well, although don't expect bombastic effects, rather they serve the storytelling and immersion. Exposition is perfectly subtle and serves a direct purpose later on. Characters are well written and relatable, although as a non native speaker I found it quite hard to distinguish their names sometimes. Then again, I am not used to listening to audiobooks. I bought this on Google so the creators get a bigger margin than on audible. Note that this is a production for hard-core sci-fi enthusiasts, so these might get the most out of this production. But I reckon it also well worth anybodys time with an interest in adventure stories. I wish all the best to Daniel Orrett and his "Crew" and hope that the Sojourn finds the necessary amount of listeners to allow for further episodes and seasons to be produced.

Really great sci fi. Captivating Story with enough originality to be very interesting. Great but still very much realistic characters. Borderline perfection in the voice acting, sound design and music especially for a Kickstarter production. One star minus just because there is fairly little content all in all...feels a little bit like they sacrificed a lot of content that could have been, in order to get that level of quality for the Budget. Going to buy every New chapter as soon as they come.
