The sequel to the first book, The Black Prism, The Blinding Knife was even better than the first. The first book took awhile to get into because all of the magic and intricacies of the drafters and colors etc... was confusing and not introduced well. now that I'm familiar with all of that and understand well enough(although not nearly as much as i would be if it was explained more clearly)i thought the story was really good and loved the characters! it's really an ingenious idea and world the author created! maybe he explained it as best he could and its my inability that caused the confusion. either way i am enjoying this series!

An absolutely fantastic story that uses fantasy and magic that is rooted in absolute science the author has created a world that is absolutely immersive and characters that you just fall in love with some and absolutely hate others in a beautiful way. The story of Kipp is incredible and I cannot wait to continue listening to this series. if you are a fan of science fiction, fantasy, or magic the gathering then you would love this series.

Absolutely phenomenal, author is a genius, narrator is insanely talented. One of the best books read by one of the best voices. Plus it just gets better in the next book.
