2020年， 受到新冠病毒疫情攪局， 可說是個混亂又“ 悶” 的一年！ 台灣票選出來的年度代表字正是「疫」。無獨有偶， 美國韋伯字典（Merriam-Webster）公布的年度代表字為「pandemic」（大流行）；劍橋字典（Cambridge Dictionary）則為「quarantine」（隔離），這個字同時也是該平台2020搜尋量與閱覽量排行前5名的單字。這些字詞全部都與疫情相關， 也說明疫情影響不分國界， 全球各國去年皆遭受波及，經濟、貿易、產業、食衣住行育樂等生活各方面， 都面臨或多或少的影響， 許多行業也陷入低迷。
「新年新希望」，隨著新年度的到來，大家期許能有嶄新的開始，揮別過去負面的、糟糕的部分，不好的全部都歸零；更重要的是希望疫情趕快平息，世界各國回歸正常生活，往來交流不受阻，各行各業才能好好發展。
