BiographyKaren Guzman's debut novel, Homing Instincts, was published by Fiction Attic Press in November 2014. Her short fiction has appeared in a numerous literary magazines, and she is a contributor to the Collegeville Institute's Bearings Online magazine.Karen has worked as a journalist at the Hartford Courant in Hartford, Conn., and at the News & Observer in Raleigh, N.C. She is co-founder of the blog www.WriteDespite.org.Karen holds an MFA degree from George Mason University, and a journalism degree from Boston University.
