A well-paced, entertaining novella about a feisty human woman (Ashley Davis) who moves away from her cheating ex (Jason) & starts a new life as a park ranger, she comes into contact with a bear shifter (Jacob Midnight) & the chemistry flares between them. I found the story-line and plot quite intriguing with interesting characters that are quite realistic with their emotions feelings. There is: bear shifters, clans, drama, warnings, strange attractions, verbal banter, advice, threats, confrontation, some steam & a happy ending.

I enjoyed reading this book 📚, it has a great storyline. The interaction and chemistry between Ashley and Jacob is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
