Claudio Ruggeri, 30 Jahre alt, wohnhaft in Grottaferrata (Rom), Angestellter und ehemaliger Fußball-Schiedsrichter. Zahlreich sind seine Aufenthalte im Ausland, die durch einen Studiumnzeitraum in den Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika angereichert werden. Die endgültige Rückkehr nach Italien erfolgt im Jahre 2007. Das mit dem Schreiben ist, und wird für immer, ein angenehmes Hobby bleiben.
