I loved this tale's delightful twisted story. Sekhmet, is the goddess of vengeance, and Fet is a minor god. These are two interesting people with a sensual pull that can blossom into love. , The increased tension to make the right decision makes this an intriguing story that continues along the flow of the “Forgotten Gods: Queen of the Gods” storyline. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Sekhmet Has been imprisoned for thousands of years and is finally released by Fet, her father’s butler. She is then told that she is not allowed to take any vengeance against people who may be innocent or she will go back to being cursed. Ma’at also tells her who was responsible and why. This was a good story and I enjoyed reading it. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Absolutely wonderful characters. Fascinating read delving into the lives, and loves, of ancient Greek gods and goddesses. There is a little bit of steam, more implied than described and some interesting twists that kept me reading to the last page. This is a quick and easy read that I recommend to anyone who likes storis involving the Greek gods. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
