This book begins with an introduction to Verilog HDL. It describes basic concepts in Verilog HDL, language constructs and conventions and modeling styles - gate-level modeling, data-flow level modeling, behavioral modeling and switch level modeling. It also describes sequential models, basic memory components, functional register, static machine coding and sequential synthesis.

The last section of the book focuses on component testing and verification. It includes combinational circuits testing, sequential circuit testing, test bench techniques, design verification and assertion verification.

Microprocessor and Digital Electronics Laboratories and designed various microprocessor-based development kits for the students. He also developed simulators to help the students thoroughly understand the internal processes within microprocessors and microcontrollers.

His books received an overwhelming response, not just in India but all over the world, and it has kept increasing since then. Most of his books are recommended as textbooks and reference books in various Universities for Electronics and Computer Engineering. Due to his dedicated teaching and endless efforts, many students from this institute received admits from top-ranked U.S. universities with scholarships and paid assistantships.
