This is a pioneering effort to provide in one place, alternative sources of funding, professionally structured business plan and other related aspects of raising start-up funds. Beginning with a detailed analysis of the Startup Ecosystem, the role of Incubators, Mentors & Accelerators (IMA) from the stage of ideation to the actual setting up of a project, principal players in this process like Universities, IITs, IIMs, Indian Business Houses, Multinational Corporations and reputed professionals and intrapreneurs have been identified and listed. Dr. K.S.V. Menon, M.A., Ph.D in Economics, a recipient of gold medal from the University of Mumbai, holds MBA (Finance – Addison State University, USA). Dr. Menon has over 3 decades of professional experience in project appraisal, teaching, research and consultancy having worked in IFCI Ltd., UN System as Economist-Investment Expert and other reputed Private-Public Corporates. Currently he is President & CEO of Horizon Industrial Consultancy Services, specializing in Project Finance, Venture Capital and other Start-Up funds. He has penned five books on professional subjects besides over 200 papers in reputed professional journals to his credit, on the director boards of several well reputed corporates. Dr. (Ms) Garima Malik M.A. & Ph.D. in Economics from the Ohio State University, A-Levels with Economics, Henrietta Barnett School (London-UK). Dr. Garima has over a decade of experience in teaching in reputed colleges affiliated to Delhi University (LSR, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce Maitreyi) TERI University & research and consultancy (PWC, ICRIER, Tata Services etc.). Currently she is on the faculty of Centre for Policy Research in Higher Education at National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA), New Delhi. She has published a number of papers in well reputed professional journals. Honoured with fellowships by reputed institutions and attended a number of seminars & conferences in India and abroad.
