This book disappointed me. Lily got on my nerves, severely. She was too repetitious. If I had to read one more time how she loved Bryce and never thought she'd have a happy future, or words to those effect, I'd go insane. Plus her emotional outcome with what happened to Ravi seemed odd to me. I won't spoil anything but she needs to truly listen to Bryce and Ashryn. I am still a Laura Greenwood fan, just not a fan of this particular book.

Lily puts herself into harm's way to save innocent students when Ravi gets into Grimalkin Academy. He tortures her before she uses Bryce's gift that he slipped into her bag to finally stop Ravi. Bryce and Ashryn find her so she return to the Academy. It is nice how Bryce and Lily can finally plan their own future and her vision only confirms it is a good one.

This is book 3 and the final in Greenwoods Grimalkin Academy series spin off Stakes. Lily (once a vamp hunter now turned vamp) has to fast her past in this read when her former vamp hunting partner escapes prison. Bryce is so protective of her and hates to leave her but must...will Lily be able to protect herself or will this be the end?!?
