Bottom Line: I enjoyed it and I would read other books in this series. This is the first book that I’ve read by Sierra Cartwright. I chose to read this ARC because she is often mentioned as a good author by those who also read some of my favorite authors in this genre. At the beginning of the story, I felt “out of the loop”, and this is normal when you’re a first time reader in the middle of a series. As the story progressed, it grew on me. Sierra Cartwright’s style is similar to other authors that I enjoy, who write about BDSM. The scenes were sensual, very descriptive and (for someone not in the lifestyle) seemed realistic. The only thing that didn’t sit well with me was the speed at which the relationship progressed: it didn’t portray a safe environment. But that being said, it’s a book, and the story has to develop a bit more quickly that in “real life” because an author needs to keep her readers motivated! And that she did! I my eyes, the bit of “suspense” towards the end felt like it was “out of the blue”. Again, because I wasn’t familiar with this series, maybe there should have been a bit more of a “prelude” at the beginning of the story, rather than just jumping into the relationship. But that’s just me… it didn’t take away from the fact that I enjoyed the book. 4/5 stars! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a very intense BDSM novel featuring Logan and Jennifer. Logan is ex military and is employed at Hawkeye Security. They are set up by another couple and they definitely make the most of their surroundings. Good read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A steamy start to the series. Jennifer is looking for something that seems to be hard to grasp but when she gets the attention of Logan, a Dom she gets the surprise of. her life. I loved how their sizzling chemistry blossomed to so much more when they discover that they bring something in each other they didn’t not they needed, Some drama and lots of delicious heat level with a good amount of BSDM made for an entertaining romance read. I can’t wait to read more of this series tha5 doesn’t disappoint.
