We finally get to know the ever present owner of the Fix who has been a fixture since the first book, the fabulously wonderful father and inventive cook who has been given a raw deal in love and life. His girlfriend didn't wait for him when he was deployed as a Marine and his wife died and now he may lose his bar if he and his partners cannot get it back in the black before the end of the year. This has him ruminating when he catches a glimpse of a woman who looks familiar and brings back memories of a love lost, Eva. Days later the same woman knocks on his office door and introduces herself as Elena, his daughter. Talk about a twist of fate, he didn't know he had a daughter and then in walks her mom, Eva, his long-lost love. This starts the whirlwind story of love and forgiveness (you have to read to find out why) and finding love again. Oh, and add to this a 15-year-old son who is mature for his age and wise beyond his years and this makes for a great mixed family. Tyree is this month's man as he is wrangled into the contest and even though all the regulars do not make an appearance this time we know they are still hanging out at the Fix. This one can be read as a standalone but this is such a great series I recommend them all! **Received this ARC for review**

Book 5 in the Man of the Month Series and is this book we get to know what makes Tyree bar owner of The Fix tick, this was the story I have been waiting for because in all the previous books Tyree is in the background and for me he has become the mystery man of the series and I needed to know his story....... Tyree lost his wife seven years ago and since then running the bar and bringing up his son has been his sole purpose so when a young woman walks into the bar claiming to be his daughter he is stunned but when she tells him her name it all falls into place, he realises she is the daughter of the girlfriend he had when he joined the military the girlfriend he thought had moved on while he was active duty. Eva has spent the last 23 years believing Tyree had been killed in action so she was just as stunned to find out he was still alive, what follows is two people learning to know each other and falling in love again as well a siblings getting to know each other........ I love this series and I love that every book can be read as stand-alones, the characters are all very different and all have there own story to tell, I’m really looking forward to meeting Mr June.

Another amazing story by J. Kenner with book#5 in the Man of the Month series, "Get It On". A true page turner....I was so enthralled... In Get It On, Tyree Johnson, the owner of the Fix on 6th bar is put to the test when he has a unexpected visitor show up to give him news that throws his world upside down.....Without a shadow of a doubt he embraces the news. Tyree so in love with his beloved wife cant seem to move on.....no matter how much desire and want he has to rekindle what he once had and move on. Little did he expect his past love to find her way back into his life. This story is filled with remorse, lust, desire, and love like no otherd & a trip down memory lane. . Together with the chanting of his friends he is coerce into entering the May Man of the Month contest only to strut that well built upper body & win. While dealing with letting go of his past and wanting to rekindle a new romance with his former Eva.... Tyree is swept up with emotional feelings that take him through a roller coaster ride... You'll have to read this one to fall in love with the totally sexy, ex military, hunk Tyree Johnson. He will not disappoint ladies. Five stars for GET IT ON!
