I purchased this for my wife after we found out our first child will be a boy. She felt she understood little girls more so than boys, so this helped put her mind at ease. The simple fact is boys and girls are different. You can't raise them the same. This book does a good job of explaining that.

It will seem like common sense to parents who have done their research and don't rely on media fed information. But if you are new to the world of boys and have absolutely no idea where to start, this is a good place. I read it more for confirmation in the direction we've been heading as parents.

Everyone wants to raise a son to be a person they'll be proud of - honest, hard working, ethical, virtuous. All these are things we have to help them with. This book is so good and informative, I am ordering more to give to my friends and family who have sons. The author gives many real life examples and her book is fabulously written!
