It's a great book if you're a sex and the city fan. Kind of reminded me of Miranda in the sense that it's not easy being both a successful woman and a first time mom at the same time. It also shows the challenges friendship goes through when faced with such challenges. Although I didn't like Jill as much towards the end, I enjoyed the book thoroughly and definitely recommend it.

Laurie Frankel lives in Seattle and teaches in the English Department at the University of Puget Sound. The Atlas of Love is her first novel.
