About this eBook

The sixth book in the New York Times bestselling Gone series by Michael Grant, is another masterful, arresting depiction of life in the FAYZ.

It's been over a year since all the adults disappeared. Gone.

In the time since every person over the age of fourteen disappeared from the town of Perdido Beach, California, countless battles have been fought: battles against hunger and lies and plague, and epic battles of good against evil.

And now, the gaiaphage has been reborn as Diana's malicious mutant daughter, Gaia. Gaia is endlessly hungry for destruction. She yearns to conquer her nemesis, Little Pete, and then bend the entire world to her warped will. As long-standing enemies become allies, secrets are revealed and unexpected sacrifices are made. Will their attempts to save themselves and one another matter in the end, or will the kids of Perdido Beach perish in this final power struggle?

“[T]his book is more than satisfying—it is epic.”—VOYA (starred review)

Light was the perfect ending to a great series. It was so awesome and it had a huge amount of drama and action like all the other books in this series. It made you sad angry excited and it kept me wanting more. To finish this book I read for 4 hours straight. Playin no games. BUY THIS AND ENJOY THE ENDING :)

I never thought I'd say this, but by the end of this book, I cried because the FAYZ was gone and I'll never get to visit these wonderful characters again. I can do without the psychotic, sadistic Drake, but I hope that somehow, both Pete and Caine can somehow come back, and that Caine and Diana are reunited. I never thought I'd say this, but by the end of this book, I cried because the FAYZ was gone and I'll never get to visit I can"t wait to start reading Grant's trilogy about Gaia, starting with Monster.

Love gaia's point if view, the way she experienced weakness was brilliant during her fight with brianna (breeze). Unfortunately, I was sad when Michael grant killed brianna off and I cried when she and caine soren off, as well as little pete (nemesis)'s death. The book is just too sad!

About the author

Michael Grant, author of the Gone series, the Messenger of Fear series, the Magnificent Twelve series, and the Front Lines trilogy, has spent much of his life on the move. Raised in a military family, he attended ten schools in five states, as well as three schools in France. Even as an adult he kept moving, and in fact he became a writer in part because it was one of the few jobs that wouldn’t tie him down. His fondest dream is to spend a year circumnavigating the globe and visiting every continent. Yes, even Antarctica. He lives in California with his wife, Katherine Applegate, with whom he cowrote the wildly popular Animorphs series.
