Lovely read. I enjoyed being immersed in The Ashford family again, and especially Jorgie’s story. She is a strong, determined female, perfectly matched with Hudson, a passionate and ambitious chef. Both move from big city to small town life for very different reasons. A really lovely story about family, friendships and finding home. Well Jorgina certainly knows how to make an entrance when she comes back home unexpectedly from losing her footing in front of her brothers home to coffee going flying all while holding a secret as she is worried about how "The Ashford" aka her dad will see her. Hudson is the perfect match for her with his gruff exterior but also with his understanding of the expectations when growing up with high profile parents as well as using the Orchard Hill Farms restaurant as a starting point of building their careers. There are reality checks for both of them as well as home truths, attraction that can't be denied, family rifts that need to heal and some good laughs along with a few tears.
