Das Konzept des Modularen Multilevel-Umrichters (MMC) bietet zahlreiche Vorteile, wie z. B. ein Höchstmaß an Modularität und Skalierbarkeit sowie eine sehr hohe Spannungsqualität. Moderne Drehstromantriebssysteme sollen zukünftig mit MMCs realisiert werden, was den Einsatz bis in höchste Spannungs- und Leistungsklassen erlaubt. Die vorliegende Arbeit stellt dafür ein ganzheitliches Konzept zur Steuerung und Regelung sowie zur Dimensionierung des MMCs für die Anwendung als Antriebsumrichter vor.
