About the author

Pippa DaCosta grew up in the dramatic moorland of Devon and Cornwall, where she now lives with her blacksmith husband and two young girls. With a family history brimming with Gypsy angst and Jewish survivors, she draws from a patchwork of ancestry and uses it as the inspiration for her writing. Pippa is the author of The Veil series and urban fantasy City of Fae was her first novel for Bloomsbury.
