This well established reference book brings together leading cases on building contracts to illustrate legal principles. It provides a statement of the principle established, a summary of the facts and the decision and, for most cases, a verbatim extract of the judgment. The latest edition includes a number of new cases since the last edition was published in 1999.
關於作者
M.P. Furmston TD, MA, BCL, LLM, Bencher of Gray’s Inn, was Professor of Law at the University of Bristol from 1978-98. He is now Emeritus Professor and senior research fellow. He is well known as the editor of Cheshire, Fifoot and Furmston on Contract and his other books include Cases and Materials on Contract with Hugh Beale and William Bishop. He is the editor of Construction Law Reports.
Vincent Powell-Smith LLM, DLitt, FCIArb was a leading authority on building contracts and a practicing arbitrator. He was a former Council member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and, for some years, Professor of Law at the University of Malaysia and the International Islamic University, Malaysia. He was originally Joint Editor of Construction Law Reports.
