I think this story has stolen my words, because I’m not even sure how to say what I feel about this book. It’s sweet and spicy with a bit of angst and a dose of family drama, both of which I suspect are going to play out more as we get further into the series. If this book were a season, I’d call it ‘spring’. There are still storms that rip through and create chaos, but it’s all about new beginnings, a fresh start, new life. This story felt very focused on EJ and Bri falling in love after their whirlwind night in Vegas, and the hurdles the need to overcome in order to blend their lives and careers, keeping the whole tone of the book fairly light and sweet. Take note that their story does not finish here, this book has one heck of a cliff-hanger ending that’s a guarantee I’m coming back for the next one. I’m desperate to find out how the author is going to get them through this. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author through Give Me Books Promotions.

What a "Power Couple," EJ (Everett) and Bri (Brianna) turn out to be. Going from a drunken Vegas wedding, forced to stay married by their recording label, falling head over heels for each other and making sweet music on and off the stage together. The beginning of their marriage finds these two becoming the "it" couple and exuding all the relationship goals that most dream of finding. It all runs smoothly until their record label decides they want them to divorce to bring them higher to the top than they already are. This throws this loving couple into a tail-spin and just when they think they have it all figured out a big surprise is thrown their way. This book ends on a cliffhanger and in the perfect spot for one. I can't wait to read what the future has in store for Bri and EJ. I loved this book, I loved the storyline, the romance, the chemistry and steaminess and so much more. If you love a great rock star romance then check out Power Couple, it will rock your socks off!!!!

This is book one in The Nashvegas series and it starts the story of EJ and Bri. EJ is the lead singer in the dock band Grey Skies and the oldest son of Harmony and Garreth who are famous in there own writes and they are all going to Vegas to watch Harmony's concert. Bri is one of the world's biggest pop stars and she is going to watch Harmony's concert in Vegas for her birthday as Harmony is one of her idol's that she looks up to. Bri has had a crush on EJ since she was seventeen as they both have the same recording company and she hopes that she sees him tonight but then after sitting with EJ and his family but after the concert life has they know will change overnight. There are so many difficult situations but you have to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and I couldn't put this book down as it was so addictive. Laramie Briscoe is an amazing author and writer and omg what a cliff hanger and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series to see what happens next. I definitely recommend you read this book and you will definitely not be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed an Arc copy of this book.
