About this eBook

It was wrong to stay together ... but we couldn’t stay apart.
I’ve been with my share of women, but none touched my heart and fired my senses the way she did. Her smile enticed me. Her caresses teased me. Her body aroused me.
And yet, it couldn’t last. There were too many years between us. A gap we couldn’t breach, and we broke it off. No. I broke it off. And  I’ve regretted that decision ever since.
Now she’s in danger, and there’s no one else I trust to protect her. But the more time we spend together, the more I want her back. And all I know now is I have to keep her safe—and despite both of us knowing better, somehow, someway, she will be mine again.

Age gap, sexy hero's, strong sassy heroines, what's not to love. Huge fan of this one. The series seems to get better as I go on, which is a pleasure to discover. For first time readers, this series is written single pov (hero's) but somehow does such a good job I didn't miss the dual pov. Open door sexy times. A little action and mystery to mix things up. Just really satisfying and heartfelt.

The boys of Blackwell-Lyon are back at it. A quick read from Connor’s POV with the introduction of a new character, Leo, who will be the fourth book’s hero. May-December romance meets second chance romance with a twist of suspense. Previous books in the series hinted at Kerrie and Connor’s previous relationship, but now we get story starting with the catalyst that rekindles their love affair. It’s a bumpy road, but it makes the outcome all that much sweeter. My only issue is a thought Pierce (being Kerri’s brother and all) would have had a slightly bigger roll in this story. When you read this, you’ll understand what I mean.

This was a quick read that I read in one sitting. It gives me a little of everything; heart, heat, and suspense. I like the troupe best friend's little sister so I knew i would enjoy this one. Connor fights it with all his might, but their chemistry is hard to ignore. Kerrie has a lot of gumption that serves her well when it comes to Connor.
