The author, Sonel Soulouque, wrote this book to help educate individuals dreaming about becoming financially self-sufficient. Sonel is living proof that dreams can become a reality. He is more than just an author living the dream and sharing his knowledge with the rest of the world. Sonel is also a French teacher and a side income guru. His side income comes from making extra money as a tutor, travel agent, tax preparer and most importantly a very successful entrepreneur. Sonel believes that success comes from your drive and passion and the end result is financial independence. This book is the ultimate guidebook for anyone wanting financial independence and a little more freedom; all you have to do is follow his step-by-step guide. This book is so enlightening that you will quickly realize that now is the time to take control of your own destiny. Unlike many other books that I’ve read in the past, Sonel is not trying to tell you to quit your day job. He simply points out that you are your own glass ceiling and it is time to break through. For example, living paycheck to paycheck while working in a job that provides a way to pay the bills and take care of your family is great. However, losing that job with nothing to fall back on can be daunting. Having a side income allows you the ability to take control, adapt, and thrive in any situation. You can use this side income to build up savings, take a vacation, erase debt faster, fund your retirement and pretty much do whatever else your heart desires. With drive and passion, one day this consistent side income might even be able to supplement your main income. There's a lot of money out there and the world is full of opportunities. Sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone and think outside of the box. I usually come up with great business ideas, but I suffer from analysis paralysis. In this book, Sonel took the time to generate a few ideas and explain exactly how to implement those ideas. This book is 110 - pages of useful information about how to increase your revenue. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. My Side Income: 7 Ways to Put More Money in Your Pocket was very insightful and easy to read. The author, Sonel, was very thorough and informative throughout the whole book. I enjoyed the references and quotes he threw in to help deliver his messages. In this book, he teaches everything there is to know about making sustainable income an ongoing revenue stream. I recommend this book to everyone wanting financial independence and freedom. Just like Sonel, we all can become entrepreneurial-minded people. All we need to be successful is passion and a drive.

This is incredibly helpful and informative! As a full-time employee who makes sidelines and uses my free time on looking for more ways to earn money, I found this book very enlightening. It is extremely detailed and is illustrated well by the author. He also gives samples of his own experiences, and a lot of references. If you're planning to earn extra cash, you should definitely check this out. It has all the essentials you need when you're only starting out, or if you slowly want to ease out of the corporate setting.

 Author Sonel Soulouque is a New Jersey-based teacher, micro-entrepreneur, and investor. In addition to founding and owning the online travel website, Stopnfly.com, he owns ATM machines, provides tax preparation and educational services. He holds a master’s degree from Montclair State University. He is a member of the County Educators Federal Credit Union board in Roselle Park, NJ.
