This takes place pretty much after Lily is turned into a Vampire. Now some readers may not like this but I think Bryce did the right thing. Lily's vampire self is much more pleasing to read. I do enjoy the first book but I think she was destined to be a vampire all along. Grimalkin on the other hand had me steaming mad. The repercussions to Emma were a joke! I don't care who "little miss thangs" father is. Her ,"punishment," was ridiculous. By the end of the book though Lily helps bring down Emma and about 12 fanatic cohorts along the way. This also ends on a cliffhanger everyone can see coming but makes you instantly want to read book 3. Hint: it involves Ravi.

Book one was really good but this one answers more questions. Lily is now a vampire, Emma killed her in book one. Bryce turns her. Emma is a self-centered young lady who thinks she is always right. She still thinks Lily likes her and wants to be her friend because she made it possible for Lily to become a vampire. Lily can also still see the future in her visions and what she sees is not good. It was finally good to know what happened to Emma and that she gets what she deserves. However for Lily things are not going as well as she planned. Cannot wait for the next book. I would recommend this book. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. The plots Lily overheard before she was turned are stopped and the group known at Grimalkin Academy are arrested. Bryce can only be Lily's emotional support during this as Lily goes undercover to catch them. Unfortunately a bigger threat is coming. Hopefully Lily and Bryce can deal with this one together.
