Alpha Heist is book 1 in the Stealing The Alpha series and it should be noted that the three books are really just one story. Always good to know that going in. Mrs. Rudolph usually puts the first one up for free (as this one is), but you can almost always buy the rest as a set for a very reasonable price (and the set includes this one). That being said, you should definitely give this a go. The story follows a thief, Mel, and a lion pride alpha, Luke, and the rather bumpy ride to their HEA that starts with, of course, a heist. I won't tell you more, because hey, why would I spoil all of your fun? I loved Mel because she was just so darned cocky and that's rare in a female character. Luke was a pretty great guy all around and of course, a kick a$$ lion shifter. This series has shifters, witches, vampires, sibling tensions, steamy bits (later), and some good ol' fashioned burglary. It's fun and I highly suggest giving it a shot.

Mel is renowned thief in the supernatural community. So when she is offered the most impossible job she takes it for the right price. But the job is too difficult for one person so she get a team together. While she is on the job she is captured by the very person that owns what she is trying to take. Luke is owner of the priceless item that Mel has stolen. He will stop at nothing to get the item back. Even is the thief is the person that he can't stop thinking about since they shared a passionate kiss before all of this happened. What will Luke do her now that he has her? I received this book as an ARC in exchange for my hones review. This is my first time reading this author and I loved the book. I could not put it down. I can't wait to read the rest of this series and to see what happens with Luke and Mel. Their was few twist in the book that you didn't see coming. I recommend this book to others.

Story ends in what can be described as a cliffhanger. There is no HEA. Nothing in blurb to let readers know that the story is not just a normal series but in fact could be touted as a trilogy.
