this book started off well but it feels as if there is a chapter missing. I also don't understand how woman give into their lust before getting married and before the person declares their love. Its a little frustrating and I hope the next book in this series doesn't follow the same pattern as this book or the previous two books. It takes the romance and fairytale out of the story

I just absolutely adore regency books. The time period, the culture, just... everything, seems otherworldly for me! This author did not disappoint me with this historical romance. I was swept up and away with the chemistry of the main characters, and their storyline of finally coming back together! ❤️

What started out as a simple request to help the Viscount turned into something more for Mary. Mary is a lady who is not having such a good time living with her sister after the death of their parents. Amelia is really a true friend. It was a charming book to spend time with and I liked the author writing style. I stayed up late last night just to finish it. This is a book I am happy to recommend.

About the author

USA Today bestselling author Suzanna Medeiros was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Her love for the written word led her to pursue a degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Education degree but graduated at a time when no teaching jobs were available. After working at a number of interesting places, including a federal inquiry, a youth probation office, and the Office of the Fire Marshal of Ontario, she decided to pursue her first love—writing.

 

Suzanna is married to her own hero and is the proud mother of twin daughters. She is an avowed romantic who enjoys spending her days writing love stories.
