About the author

Prof. Dr. Uwe Probst unterrichtet seit 2003 an der Technischen Hochschule Mittelhessen die Fachgebiete Leistungselektronik und elektrische Antriebstechnik. Davor war er 9 Jahre in einem mittelständischen Unternehmen des Maschinenbaus tätig. In dieser Zeit hat er hochpräzise elektrische Antriebe selbst entwickelt und an Werkzeugmaschinen eingesetzt.
