“Secret Romeo” is book nine in Ms. Pinder’s House of Morgan series. I have read and enjoyed all the books in this series but “Secret Romeo” is my new favorite. Why? Because Pilar finally has her story and Ms. Pinder work it beautifully and expertly written. Pilar Soliz has taken care of the Morgan’s for over 25 years while morning the disappearance of her husband Samuel over 25 years ago when Mitch Morgan kidnapped his wife Isabelle.. The storyline was sweet and emotional with just enough internal conflict to make it an awesome read. The wedding of Luke Morgan and Caro Soliz coupled with a destination wedding at Christmas is magical. Pilar and Samuel/ Santiago are a perfect couple both struggling to deal with their feeling s for each other (Pilar’s rekindled and Santiago’s new but old and unsure). Their second chance at love and happiness made me smile. I loved the interaction between them with their children Rafe and Caro and Santiago/ Samuel’s daughter Valentina. This story was truly a joy to read that highly recommend! I am looking forward to reading about the Italian branch of the Morgan’s and maybe starting with Anthony’s story. I was given an Advanced Readers Copy of this book. It was my pleasure to read and review.
