A little Cinderella merged with Pride and Prejudice. A great addition to the Princes of Avce series. This is a wonderful book that you'll find hard to put down once you begin reading. Guaranteed to make you lose some sleep. Well-developed likable characters and an engaging storyline. Chemistry galore and plenty of twists to keep you guessing. A fun read that features the King's illegitimate son, Charles Esposito and his perfect match, Sandi Smith.

When an author writes a multiple book series, it is hard to keep each story fresh and original. Victoria Pinder has found a formula that satisfies even the pickiest reader. In Forbidden Bastard, she weaves the story of Charles Esposito, the illegitimate son of the King of Avce, and Sandi Smith, an American businesswoman, who is on the brink of losing the family business. She storms his office in Paris because her parents have "given her" to Charles to wed. From their first meeting in his office until the last page, I was hooked. I read until the wee hours of the morning because I had to find out how the book would end. I can honestly say this was another 5-star romance from Victoria Pinder!
