Nicole's Book Musings
This is a great second chance romance. I was instantly sucked into the story. I must say at the very, very beginning I thought I wasn't going to like Kyle because of what he was doing, but his motives would soften anyone's heart. Ella is the one who got away and he's never forgotten her. You can feel the connection between Kyle and Ella. That strong pull won't let either of them go, but will family one again come between the two? What Kyle does for Ella is truly romantic and even in the epilogue as well.

***4 ‘Figure It Out’ Stars*** And we have another winner in the Book Boyfriend series (though Max and Hailey from Faking It are still my favorite couple :D )! This second chance at love story is filled with humor, heart, heat that will keep you turning the pages and wanting more. I fell in love with Kyle before the first chapter was over. What he does and the reason why he does what he does made my heart go all kinds of swoony and twitterpated. He’s got a laid back vibe and a good heart and when the Alpha side of him comes out to play all bets are off. Ella I really liked. She’s compassionate, kind and I had to admire how she took responsibility for her family when things went to hell in a handbasket. But that responsibility weighs her down and while I totally understood why she did the things she did, I wanted to reach and shake some sense into her so she could Kyle and Ella’s second chance at love journey was a fun one. The angst was low, which I really liked, and while there were a few bumps and some eye rolling/heavy sigh moments, it was fun to watch these two get to know each other again. The smexy as hot and I loved the Ella gave as good as she got. The issue that broke them up when they were teens was a pretty big one and I can’t say I blame either for how they handled, and didn’t handle, things, but I liked how they dealt with it all when they collided again and how everything worked out for them in the end. As always, the writing was engaging, well paced and seamlessly put together. I enjoyed catching up with the other couples and cannot wait to get my hands on Connor’s book! ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

**Advanced copy provided by the authors in exchange for an honest review** Well Built is the third book in Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde's Book Boyfriends series. While it is part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone without issue. When Kyle Coleman left his hometown of Woodmont ten years ago, he not only left his mother, he left the one woman he has ever loved, Ella Fisher. Because of issues between his family and hers, things ended badly between them, but once he left to go to school and work in Chicago, he's never found a woman who compares to his high school girlfriend. Ella has always missed Kyle, but when he shows back up in town he not only throws a wrench in her plans to expand her business, but he also puts her heart at risk again because she realizes how much she really did miss him. While there is animosity and hurt between them both because of past issues and due to Kyle's return to town, there is still plenty between them. It's obvious they care about one another, but the question is can they get past all of the external problems and focus on them and how they feel about one another? Can a now City Boy and a perennial Country Girl find a way to make it work? This was a great second chance romance and addition to the series. I enjoyed the characters and it was a quick moving, sweet, sexy story. I'm looking forward to the next installment of this series!
