Wright with Benefits is the story of Jordan Wright and Annie, set in the same premises as the Wright Brothers. Jordan Wright is cousin of the Wrights, originally from Vancouver. He shifts to Lubbock, Texas to be with his mom during her cancer treatment along with his brother Julian. Annie is a med-school student. After witnessing the death of one of her close friends, she decides to pursue med-school and does not want any distractions.. Wright with Benefits picks up 3 years after "One Wright Stand".. Annie has been avoiding Jordan since their night together for 3 years for a reason.. She is very determined and focused on completing her med school and starting her residency. However, on one of her bad days, she ends up getting help from Jordan against her wish, and the two fall back together.. With Annie not wanting distractions and Jordan focused on his career, they decide to be friends with benefits.. Eventually their friendship evolves and turns into more. And when things are getting good, their past, fears catch up and shake the relationship they have.. I loved Jordan and Annie .. I couldn't put down their story once i started. K.A Linde, as always delivers yet another amazing story with the right amount of angst!! Glimpses of the other Wrights were pure joy!! i cant wait to read Julian story...

Loved being back in the Wright world! I loved getting a glimpse of Annie and Jordan in One Wright Stand and was really looking forward to their full story. And it did not disappoint. Did I want to smack both of them on several occasions? Yes. Did I love them both, singularly and together? Also yes. LOL! I loved their journey. It was tough at times, but beautiful nonetheless. And there were some twists and turns thrown in there that I didn’t see coming. They both had some growing to do and I love that they did it for themselves as well as for each other. I laughed, I cried, I swooned! I just loved this pair of characters. And I loved catching up with some old favorites. I’m looking forward to more from this world.

4 stars for - Wright with Benefits - by K.A. Linde. This is technically the eighth book in the Wright Series - which features a wealthy family in Lubbock, Texas that has overcome all types of obstacles and heartache to live out their dreams. If you haven't checked out the series I highly recommend it - but you can read this book and have no problems keeping up. Annie is studying to become a doctor so she has no time or desire for a relationship. Having no time for anything but achieving her goals she tends to stick to only quick flings hence the mistake she made a few years back. Jordan is an executive at his family's business - Wright Construction - making little time for anything but his career and family. When he sees Annie again after their epic night he's hoping for a repeat performance and suggests as such but Annie does not make it easy. This was a good romance with just the right amount of drama and lots of sexiness mixed in too. The Wright family seems so relatable and fun you can't help but fall in love with them over and over.

She has a Masters degree in political science from the University of Georgia, was the head campaign worker for the 2012 presidential campaign at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and served as the head coach of the Duke University dance team.
