ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನು ಮಹಾಜನರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ನನಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಂತೋಷ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತರಾಗಿರುವ ಮಹನೀಯರು ನನಗೆ ಗುರುಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿರತಕ್ಕವರು. ಭಗವತ್ಕೃಪೆಯಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಈ ಮಹನೀಯರ ಪರಿಚಯ ಲಭಿಸಿತು. ನಾನು ಈಗ ಧೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.: ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅಯ್ಯರವರಂಥ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕರು, ನಮ್ಮ ವೆಂಕಟಕೃಷ್ಣಯ್ಯನವರಂಥ ಉದಾರಿಗಳು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಇಂಡಿಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದುರ್ಲಭರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವರು ಅಸಮಾನರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿವಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅಯ್ಯರ್‍ರವರ ಜ್ಞಾನಾಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಪಾಂಡಿತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ವೆಂಕಟಕೃಷ್ಣಯ್ಯನವರ ಹೃದಯವೈಶಾಲ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ನಮ್ಮ ಜನ ಧ್ಯಾನ ಮಾಡಿದಷ್ಟೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೇಯಸ್ಸು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವುದೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
