From the very first time that I read a Terah Edun story I was hooked, her brilliant storytelling skills captivate you from the first page. The Courtlight series are a must read for any fantasy reader. The story of Ciardis is one of romance, action and fantasy that is fast paced and full of twists and surprises. I have been avidly waiting for the next book in the series and 'sworn to restoration' does not disappoint. The plot draws you in from the get-go, I feel this book was more fast-paced than the last few books but it does leave you wanting more, the book leaves you on a bit of a cliff-hanger and I am now even more desperate to find out what happens next! The characters of Ciardis, Sebastian and Thanar evolve more and the slight shift-change in the triumvirate leaves me a little sad that if it goes the way it's heading than the choice Ciardis is going to have to make soon will leave Thanar out of it, I do love a bad boy and Thanar over the last few books has become a bit of a personal favourite of mine as you see a different side to the 'annihilation of his people' person. Aside from this, Sebastian is starting to come more into his own and i am looking forward to seeing him as a proper ruler. A once again, brilliant page-turning masterpiece by Terah Edun.

I was lucky enought to be chosen as a Beta Reader by the author prior to the release of this book and I'm so glad that I was chosen. Yet again Terah Edun delivers. The book picks up from where Terah left off at the end of Courtlight Book 10 and we rejoin Ciardis, Sebastian and Thanar facing daunting prospects with ridiculously short time scales. Everything needs to be done and the charaters draw the reader in. The chemistry between Ciardis, Sebastian and Thanar is fantastic and due to the nature of their special bond makes them all the more engaging. The plot is fantastic and Terah sets a good pace. I found that I could not put this book down and read it from cover to cover in less than 24 hours. For anyone new to this series and to Terah's work. I can fully recomment setting some time aside and reading the whole series from beginning to end.
