Too much secondary character detail caused for a very long read. Millie's story was in first book but also at least half of this one as well.

Of this trilogy [I THOUGHT THIS WAS A TRILOGY BUT #3?], who is a wickedly talented writer, though historical writers have been long-time favorites & Syfy Historical Romances are a new type favorite, my preferences in writers require a wittiness & sense of humor essential to my enjoyment of reading series, whether singles, double or trilogy or entire set. Jacquelyn Frank [JaX], Michele Sinclair, Tina Folsom, Jade Lee, Hanna Howell, Kerrelyn Sparks, Tawny Webber, Ella Quinn are just SOME of my favs.
